Volunteers make the Women's Sexual Assault Centre work

"The Women's Sexual Assault Centre is host to various events throughout the year. Each event requires enthusiastic individuals to make these events successful."

Walk-A-Mile-In-Her-Shoes is an event that asks men, and everyone who wishes to participate, to literally walk one mile in women's footwear to help prevent sexualized violence by raising funds and awareness for the Women's Sexual Assault Centre. It is an event designed to build community awareness about sexualized violence in a fun and positive way.

Opportunities to volunteer:

• Assist in the organization of this event
• Provide much needed help on the day of the event.
